Political Correctness has now also totally corrupted debate in modern Britain and when the Church of England Synod rightly voted against the heresy of Women Bishops this week the leader of the non-Conservative Party railed against those who stood up for classic Christian doctrine and told them to "get with the programme". That is the programme of The Left, of course.
The BBC really thinks that just by swapping around its 'management' that this will make a difference. It will not. The BBC is an institutionally left-wing, moralising (but without morality) publicly-funded disgrace. Their journalism is no different from that of The Guardian (which it constantly cites) or The Independent, or indeed The Times - all of whose journalists just dash off whatever rumour or prejudice they have - thinking that because such-and-such is a Tory, or a right-winger etc they are fair game.
Are you one of those people who remember when The Daily Telegraph was owned by Viscount Camrose and the Berry family? The days when it was objective, traditional, and had brilliant journalists writing for it, when common left-wing smears were a taboo and left to the tabloids? Do you remember when it boasted a circulation of over 1,000,000 daily? Today it is half that.
As usual the leftists at the BBC get this wrong. You can come from a stable family background and still feel lonely; be married with children and still feel lonely. Loneliness is a complex business and can be caused by any number of factors and the same hat does not fit all people.

On June 16th the Traditional Britain Group is to hold the Enoch Powell Centenary Dinner, to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of almost certainly Britain’s greatest and most acclaimed politician of the post-war era. He is best known for his fervent and constant opposition to mass immigration which he referred to as a nation erecting its own funeral pyre. He was also implacably opposed to the European Union. He believed that Parliament was a place to “voice grievance, to demand that wrong be out right” and not a place for careerists.
Our task must be to restore Britain, her heritage, her traditions, her glories, her position in the world. It must be to sweep aside the universal Left wherever they appear. We saw in the old Soviet Union and the former Eastern Bloc the final results of full-blown Socialism. Liberalism is an equal cancer. The crusade for our country must continue. What is needed is a Real Tory and traditionalist onslaught for our nation. We must keep talking and not be afraid to do so. We must get our message out there.
